Melbourne Mobile Hair & Makeup Artist
A little back story of how I found a love and passion for both Hair and Makeup.
I learnt dancing for about 10 years from the age of 4 and mum and I loved the costumes, the vibrancy and the makeup.
My second dance school were known to the other dance studio’s for their creative style with fabulous use of bold/colours.
As I got older I was able to apply my own and in time the girls and staff wanted me to apply the teams … I laugh at this as their mums loved me!
If you or your child dance/danced you will understand.
After leaving secondary school I went on to do a 1 year makeup course at Victoria University and once I left there was nothing in the world I wanted to do besides makeup.
The week within leaving VUT I put my first add in my local paper and started and began working. I was completely honest on my experience though surprisingly I was great and my business took off.
A few years later I began practising and learning from many experienced hair dressers and teachers the correct way to style for event and bridal styles hair and began my new journey as a Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist.
If you are getting married or you are recently engaged CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
It really is an amazing time to be had with your all girlfriends and extended family.
I truly hope it is an amazing time from the planning stage to your wedding day in Melbourne though it can be stressful.
My job is to be there to help with the styling stage and to ensure happiness.
I recommend booking in a Makeup and Hair trial as soon as possible.
We will sit down or chat via phone or email and I can see pictures of your wedding dress, your wedding style and your ideas and we will work out a plan to style you and your bridal party.
Once we have trialled and confirmed all the details of your wedding day and your day is booked and secured.
Allow an achievable budget for your makeup/hair and cosmetics as an experienced artist will give you the pretty perfection your wedding day deserves.
Events, Formals, Engagements, Date Night, Valentines Day, Fancy Dress
For a special occasion, perhaps a trip to Darby Day, Melbourne Cup, polo, a special dinner or your engagement party a trial can be worth while for a very special occasion though don’t feel that you must.
If you look through pictures of technique and previous work that may be enough to ensure I am suited to your requests. All the images on my home page are of makeup that was applied upon our first meeting.
Eyelashes are an important accessory that I recommend to every bride. The right lash can lift and brighten the eye, give a younger appearance and we know how alluring they are.
There are so many types of professional lashes so I always find the right lash for the eyes and your comfort level.
The lashes I choose to use are by Lash Republic. I go everywhere with my Digital camera so I will take a before and after pic and send to you once I am home.
It is a great way to see how your makeup looks in natural light and the effect behind the flash. Having a camera at the trial is also a great way to go through any changes that may be made.
If you are getting married sometime in the future, I hope you will consider having me as your ‘Makeup Artist’ for your special day, but if not I wish you a “perfect day” and complete happiness in the years ahead. X
